Los Angeles, April 12 (Agency) The events at Starcourt may be over, but the evil of the Upside Down is hardly at an end yet. With the Soviets defeated, the chaos of the Upside Down and its evil residents, the Demogorgons are only looking for another entry into our world. The war of the evils of the Upside Down has returned once again to terrorize the town of Hawkins as revealed with the arrival of the trailer of season 4. The final events of season 3 left ‘Stranger Things’ at a bit of a cliff hanger at the end, thus making season 4 a long expected event. A month ago Netflix leaked a bunch of teaser images of the season which have confirmed that Jim Hopper survived the incident of Season 3 and now with the trailer out, we see that he is indeed alive and currently in Russia, most likely working in a Soviet military facility equivalent of a gulag.
The trailer which released today showcased a bunch of imagery including a living Hopper, Will and Eleven attending a new school, Max at her step brother Billy’s grave, and the warning of another impending doom for Hawkins making an obvious reference to another assault by the residents of the Upside Down and some chaotic force within which wants to destroy Hawkins and all of humanity. The new season will be split into two parts: Volume 1 is out May 27; Volume 2 starts streaming on July 1. The Duffer Brothers, the shows’ creators and executive producers, recently announced that Stranger Things will end with the fifth season. The fourth season will star Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, and Maya Hawke.
