Social activist Apsara Reddy, actress Nikki Galrani donates Rs 3 lakhs to Vandalur Zoo for wildlife protection
Chennai, Nov 8 (FN Agency) In a novel gesture for wildlife protection, the Good Deeds Club (GDC) led by social activist Apsara Reddy and popular actress Nikki Galrani on Thursday donated Rs 3 lakhs to the Arignar Anna Zoological Park (AAZP) at suburban Vandalur, popularly called as Vandalur Zoo. The cheque was handed over to AAZP Director Ashish Srivastava at the Zoo premises. The gesture was to bolster wildlife conservation efforts and demonstrated the club’s dedication to meaningful causes to the pressing need for societal support in preserving Tamil Nadu’s wildlife. The event saw an enthusiastic presence of GDC members, conservation advocates, and local officials, including the Zoo Director. The donation will directly fund habitat enhancement, animal care, and educational outreach programs designed to cultivate an understanding and respect for wildlife among future generations.
