New Delhi, July 17 (FN Agency) Salman Khan, on Monday, issued an official notice to confirm that neither he nor his production house, Salman Khan Films (SKF), are “casting for any film”. The statement added that legal action will be taken if any party is found guilty of falsely using Salman Khan or SKF’s name in any unauthorised manner. The statement, which was shared by the actor on Instagram, read, “This is to clarify that neither Mr Salman Khan nor Salman Khan films are casting for any film currently. We have not hired any casting agents for any of our future films. Please do not trust any emails or messages received by you for this purpose.
Legal action will be taken if any party is found falsely using Mr Khan’s or SKF’s name in any unauthorised manner.” Salman Khan Films’ last project was Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. It was released on the occasion of Eid, April 21. The film starred Salman Khan and Pooja Hegde in lead roles. The ensemble star cast of Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan included Venkatesh Daggubati, Shehnaaz Gill, Jassie Gill, Raghav Juyal, and Palak Tiwari. RRR actor Ram Charan also had a special appearance in the film song Yentamma. Salman Khan will be next seen in Tiger 3 alongside Katrina Kaif. The duo will reprise their roles – Tiger and Zoya – from the prequels of the Tiger franchise. The third instalment of the spy-thriller, directed by Maneesh Sharma, will also feature Emraan Hashmi in a key role. Notably, Salman Khan’s Tiger made a cameo appearance in Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan, which was released in January this year.
Both films are a part of the spy universe created by Yash Raj Films (YRF). Reportedly, the much-anticipated Tiger Vs Pathaan face-off is on the cards. It will be directed by Siddharth Anand. “Aditya Chopra has immense trust in Siddharth Anand to deliver a grand visual spectacle that has never been seen before with Tiger vs Pathaan. Siddharth is getting a dream cast of Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan coming together for their first full-fledged film since Karan Arjun and Siddharth will also be given all the support he needs to mount Tiger vs Pathaan as the biggest film that India has ever produced,” the source told news agency ANI.
