Bengaluru, May 3 (FN Agency) Currently dominating the box office, Rocking Yash’s “KGF: Chapter 2” has been receiving overwhelming public and critical acclaim, with people praising for its visual effects mastery. So far, the movie in its third week at the box office has collected over Rs 1,000 crore breaking several records and rivaled only by “RRR” this year so far. According to trade analyst Ramesh Bala, KGF: Chapter 2 will soon enter the Rs 100 crore club in the state of Tamil Nadu, which is a remarkable achievement, keeping in mind the previous movie ticket rate controversy in the South. The movie’s Hindi version has already managed to surpass the lifetime earnings of “Dangal”, collecting over Rs.369.58 crores at the box office. During this Eid, the movie is more than likely to receive a massive boost.
Taking to Twitter trade analyst Taran Adarsh confirmed the prediction as he shared the film’s collection of Monday and wrote, “#KGF2 is all set to emerge 2ND HIGHEST GROSSING HINDI FILM… Also, #Eid holidays will expedite its journey towards ? 400 cr… ALL TIME BLOCKBUSTER… [Week 3] Fri 4.25 cr, Sat 7.25 cr, Sun 9.27 cr, Mon 3.75 cr. Total: ? 373.33 cr. #India biz. #Hindi.” In addition, as per trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan, the Kannada action epic has managed to create history by grossing about Rs 720.31 cr and Rs 223.51 by the end of Week 1 and Week 2 respectively. The movie added another feather to its flamboyant box office run before the end of Week 3 by recording a massive worldwide collection of Rs 1025.61 crore. The total box office collection of KGF: Chapter 2 is likely to witness a massive boost during this Eid .
