Hema Malini and other BJP MPs seek intervention of PM on atrocities against Hindus in Bangladesh

New Delhi, 04 Dec (FN Bureau) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Hema Malini and other members in Lok Sabha on Wednesday raised the issue of atrocities on Hindus and demolition of Hindu temples in Bangladesh and demanded intervention from the government. During Zero Hour in Lok Sabha, Hema Malini said the safety of Hindu minorities is in danger in Bangladesh and the people associated with ISKCON are being harassed. The MP’s remarks came following Saint Chinmay Krishna Das has been arrested and a case of treason has been registered against him in Bangladesh.

“This is a matter related to our sentiments, the government should immediately pay attention to this serious issue” she added.BJP’s Dilip Saikia also raised this issue and said “Inhuman acts are being done with Hindus in Bangladesh. Forces against Sanatan Dharma are active there. He demanded that the government send a message to Bangladesh so that atrocities on Hindus can be stopped. Another MP Anil Ferozia of BJP also raised this issue and demanded that the Prime Minister of India should intervene in this matter and get the devotees associated with ISKCON released.
