New Delhi, July 1 (Agency) BTS’ Jimin has ascended the top of iTunes worldwide charts with a pre-released track from his second solo album, Monday reports show. Jimin released “Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (feat. Loco)”, on Friday at 9.30 am (IST). The song has topped the iTunes “Top Song” charts in 108 countries and regions by Monday. Smeraldo topped the “Worldwide iTunes Song” and “European iTunes Song” charts on the day of its release and the track video for “Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (feat. Loco)” also rose to the top of YouTube’s “Rising Music” immediately after its release. The song charts at #10 on Global Spotify with 4.38 million streams and the music video has surpassed 9 million views as of the morning of July 1, around 78 hours after its release. This pre-released track is a sneak peak from his forthcoming album MUSE, which is garnering so much attention. With “Smeraldo” Jimin’s second solo album “MUSE” is off to a refreshing start.
‘Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (feat. Loco)’ is a song based on a ‘marching band’ theme. The orchestra sound and the hip-hop genre, adding to the colourful music video gives an energetic and lively feel throughout the music video. Jimin’s second full-length album, ‘MUSE’ will be featuring 7 tracks, set to be released on July 19. The fans are speculating the theories of the smeraldo flower from the BTS’ HYYH (The Most Beautiful Moment in Life) storyline to be connected to Jimin’s “Smeraldo”. MUSE, as the name suggests, is “journey to find a source of inspiration”, said the agency.
