Los Angeles, July 12 (Representative) K-pop superband BTS will soon come on Disney+, according to an announcement made by the entertainment giant.In a video message shared by Disney+, BTS said, “You will soon be able to meet us on the global streaming service, Disney+!.”BTS: Permission to Dance -LA which brings you into our recent concert in LA will soon be available.”And sometime next year, you can watch BTS Monuments: Beyond the Star — a documentary series that wll show a more up close and personal side of us.”It will take you on a journey of how we have grown in the past year and a story of our music. We can’t wait to show you these shows and hope you enjoy them as well. We will see you all soon.”According to CNN, this will result in five new titles with HYBE, BTS’ management company that was previously known as Big Hit Entertainment.
The band during the FESTA 2022 dinner in June, which is part of an annual celebration of their founding, had announced to “explore some solo projects”.A reality show will see V heading for vacation in ” In the Soop” with other Korean celebrities, the company said.The band’s documentary will also peek into their daily lives “as they prepare for their second chapter,” Disney and HYBE said in a joint statement.Park Ji-won, CEO of HYBE, said “This will be the start of a long-term collaboration, where we present worldwide audiences a wide range of Hybe content for fans who love our music and artists.”Jessica Kam-Engle, Disney’s head of content for Asia Pacific, said, “This collaboration represents our creative ambition — to work with iconic content creators and top stars in Asia-Pacific so their talent can be enjoyed by mainstream audiences in multiple ways.”We believe these new titles will captivate consumers worldwide and look forward to introducing more music content on our service.”
