Mumbai, March 15 (FN Agency) Actor-director Ajay Devgn on Tuesday dropped the teaser of “Runway 34”. Coming this Eid and inspired by true events, the film stars Ajay Devgn, Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani, Rakaul Preet Singh, Angira Dhar, Aakansha Singh and Ajey Nagar. Superstar Salman Khan shared the teaser with the message, that as he doesn’t have an Eid release this year, which he always usually does, so he has “requested my brother to come to you this Eid”. Sharing the 48-second teaser on his Instagram, Devgn wrote, “The truth is hidden 35,000 feet above the ground. Now experience the teaser of #Runway34.”
The teaser showcases a commercial airliner going through a thunderstorm from which we are transported into the cockpit where the camera shifts from a serious shot of Rakul Preet’s First Officer to Ajay Devgn’s Captain who upon hearing the calls given from the radio responds with a stern expression with melancholic music playing in the background… “Humein koi aisa information nahi mila (We haven’t received any such information).” The shot then shifts to Big B explaining the law of gravity explaining that “Jo cheez jitnee tezi se upar jati hai, utni hi tezi se neeche aati hai”. Salman on his Instagram post said: “I don’t have any film ready toh maine apne bhai @ajaydevgn se request ki hai if he can come on Eid, Eidi dene ke liye. Chalo iss Eid hum sab celebrate karenge aur dekhenge #Runway34.” Replying to the Tweet, Devgn wrote, “Bhai ki request, sar aankhon par! Runway 34 landing this Eid. #Runway34Teaser.” The movie previously titled “May Day” is slated to be released on April 29.
