Shahkot, Mar 19 (Agency) A 25-year-old woman was arrested for allegedly killing her six-month-old baby, police said here. According to Station House Officer (SHO) Surindar Kumar, the accused has been identified as Navreet Kaur(25) a resident of Mian Wal Araian village.
Harjindar Singh, the woman’s husband, told the police that the woman was under depression and killed their son by strangling him. Police reached on the spot and recovered the body and sent it to Nakodar civil hospital for post-mortem. A case under section 302(murder) of the Indian Penal Code has been registered against the accused.
