Two interstate smugglers nabbed with three kilograms of opium in Chatra

Chatra, Sep 3 (Agency) The district police has arrested two inter state smugglers along with three kilo grams of opium from Kasmar village under Pratappur Police Station area of this district. SDPO Avinash Kumar in a press conference on Friday said that SP Rakesh Ranjan had received a tip off regarding the presence of opium smugglers at Kasmar village which falls in the bordering areas of Chatra and Gaya district of Bihar.

Based on the information a team under Pratappur Circle Officer Zulfikar Ansari was constituted which conducted raids in the village and nabbed the two smugglers alongwith the opium and two motorcycles. He said that among the arrested one is from Pratappur while another one is from Gaya district of Bihar.
