Two inter-state HB offenders held in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Feb 14 (Agency) The City Police have arrested two interstate day & night House Burglary offenders and seized gold and silver ornaments worth Rs 27.16 lakh from their possession. The sleuths of CCS LB Nagar team along with Vanasthalipuram Police of Rachakonda Police Commissionerate have apprehended Rafikul Khan (33) of Hayathnagar of Ranga Reddy district and a native of Murshidabad, Kolkata in West Bengal and Shaik Suraj (30) of Hayathnagar and a native of Murshidabad, Kolkata in West Bengal on February 4 when they were moving in suspicious manner under the limits of Vanasthalipuram Police Station, a police release here said on Monday. On questioning, they revealed their names and also confessed they had committed 13 offences in the limits of Rachakonda Police Commissionerate.

After that they were sent to court for judicial remand. Later the Vanasthalipuram Police took the offenders into Police custody for 10 days from February 7 to 14 to recover case property at Murshidabad in West Bengal. After taking police custody a team went to Murshidabad of West Bengal state and recovered stolen property, the release added.
