Bhubaneswar, Mar 2 (Bureau) The Commissionerate of Police, on Wednesday arrested two persons for allegedly possessing fake Indian currency notes of face value Rs 7 lakh, from the Kharvela Nagar Police station area of the capital city, official sources said. Police also seized papers, colours and a computer used by the accused for printing the fake notes.
Police identified the accused as Satya Narayan Prusti and Bhula Pradhan of Ganjam district. Police said all the seized counterfeits notes are of Rs 200 denominations. Earlier, the accused used to take money from people in exchange to provide them jobs in different organizations. Further investigation is on.
