Three held for vehicle loot by Palamu Police

Daltonganj, Aug 22 (Agency) With the arrest of 13 miscreants the Palamu Police on Saturday claimed to have cracked four different cases of loot which had taken place under separate police station areas. Among the 13 arrested criminals nine are from separate areas of Bihar, three are from Garhwa and one is from Palamu district.

Palamu SP Chandan Kumar Sinha said that on the basis of technical input and CCTV footage these criminals have been arrested. He said that following separate incidents of loot under Rehala, Pipra and Chattarpur Police Station areas which had taken place in July and August a team under DSP Surjeet Kumar was constituted which cracked the case. From the arrested two desi kattas, two live cartridges, three cars, two motorcycles, nine mobile phones and more than Rs 6,000 in cash have been recovered.
