Thane, Apr 11 (Representative) On the first day of full lockdown, the city Traffic police came down heavily on the alleged violators of the orders and seized as many as 386 vehicles. The action was taken on 1,248 persons for violations, police said.
Many were found travelling without valid reasons and not being employed in essential services. The drive was being carried out by 18 divisions of the Traffic police of Thane police commissionerate, sources added.
