Bhubaneswar, Jul 30 (Representative)The Special Task Force (STF), Bhubaneswar today seized over 1 kg of brown sugar worth over Rs 1 crore near Pipili in Puri district and arrested the drug peddler. Acting on a tip-off, a team of the STF conducted a raid and seized brown sugar weighing 1.04 kg from the possession of the accused. STF sources said since 2020, in a special drive against narcotic drugs, it has seized more than 35 kg of brown sugar, 67 quintal of ganja and arrested more than 100 people on the charge of dealing in illegal drugs.
