New Delhi, Oct 4 (FN Agency) Delhi Police Special Cell on Monday arrested two Ashok Pradhan gang members who were wanted in murder, attempt to murder, extortion and robbery cases. The accused, identified as Abhishek alias Shekhu who carrying a reward of Rs 50000 , while Sachin alias Jage was carrying a reward of Rs 10000. Two sophisticated pistols along with 9 live cartridges were recovered from them. The team received specific information about Abhishek with his associate coming to Dwarka to commit some crime. Based on this input, a raid was conducted on Jain Road near Dwarka Mor, and arrested Abhishek along with his associate Sachin.
During questioning, Abhishek told police that he along with his associates had fired on the house of gangster Priyavart. After that incident Priyavart started threatening him and therefore he joined Ashok Pradhan Gang and soon became the sharp-shooter of his gang. He had committed murders on the direction of gangster Ashok Pradhan, who is presently lodged in Jail, said Sanjeev Kumar Yadav, DCP, Special Cell. Abhishek allegedly committed murder of Shakti Dada, who was the cousin of gangster Neeraj Bawania, as there was a long time rivalry between the gang leaders Ashok Pradhan and Neeraj Bawania. Sachin was wanted in a sensational murder of Akash at Vaish College in Rohtak in Haryana.
