Bokaro, Jun 3 (Agency) Police have arrested six men and recovered seven kilograms of Uranium from Harla Police Station area of this district. Briefing the press on Thursday Bokaro SP Chandan Kumar Jha said that police had received a tip-off that in some places of the district Uranium was being purchased and sold and in this, some criminals were involved.
Following the directions of the SP police teams from different police stations conducted simultaneous raids and arrested the men involved in this trade. The arrested have been identified Bapi Da alias Bapi Chandra, Krishnakant Rana, Deepak Kumar, Mahaveer Mahto, Pankaj Kumar Mahto and Hareram Sharma. From the arrested 7 mobile phones and a motorcycle has been also seized.
