Jalandhar, Jan 12 (Agency) Alert Border Security Force (BSF) jawans seized 7.4 kgs of heroin along with two pistols, two magazines and 55 rounds in Ferozepur and Amritsar sector on Wednesday. BSF troops during early hours of Wednesday observed some suspicious movement near the BS Fence in the AOR of Ferozepur sector. On searching the area, jawans recovered six packets weighing 6.360 kgs of contraband suspected to be heroin tied in yellow wrapping along with one pistol, one magazine and 50 rounds.
In another incident, during search in the AOR of Ferozepur sector, BSF troops recovered one packet (weighing 1.064 kgs) of contraband suspected to be heroin. In yet another seizure, BSF jawans seized one pistol, one magazine and five rounds during search in AOR of Amritsar sector.
