Bengaluru, Apr 14 (Agency) Police have nabbed two drug smugglers and seized from their hideout 141 kg 200-gram ganja worth about Rs 84.60 lakh in the city. Police said on Wednesday that the arrested were identified as Chedda Krishnan, Dumrigudda Mandal, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh and Murthy, Manjapura Village, Chamarajanagar District of Karnataka.
Preliminary investigation has revealed that Krishnan used to purchase ganja from tribals living in hilly areas of Araku Village in Visakhapatnam and joining with Murthy both were selling the ganja in Karnataka. Koramangala Police have registered a case and are investigating.
