One held along with two juveniles for illegally selling Remdesivir injections in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, May 6 (Agency) The City police on Thursday arrested a person along with two boy juveniles for illegally procuring and selling Remdesivir injection in the black market on higher price. Police seized five Remdesivir injections, each 100 Mg, three cell phones from their possession.

On credible information, North Zone Task Force team laid a trap at Dharani Medical shop, situated at Gudimalkapur, in the limits of Tappachaburta Police Station and apprehended one person Nikhil Agarwal along with two boy juveniles who were illegally procuring and selling Remdesivir Injections “Covifor” in the black market at a higher prices to needy customers. The accused selling it for Rs 30,000 each which are being used for Antiviral medicine for Covid-19 patients to gain easy money illegally, a police release here said. The apprehended accused person & boy juveniles along with seized material handed over to SHO Tappachabutra Police Station for taking further action.
