New Delhi, Oct 25 (Representative) Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) Mumbai zonal director Sameer Wankhede, who cracked the cruise drug case allegedly involving actor Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan, reached Delhi on Monday evening. On being asked about his arrival in Delhi, he said he was not summoned, he came to Delhi for a different reason. On allegations of bribery against him, he said “It is baseless allegations”. He added that he stands by the probe into the drug case.
Meanwhile Maharashtra Home Minister Dilip Walse Patil today stated that no FIR has been filed yet against the NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede, accused of seeking bribe in the cruise drugs case. Talking to media persons here, he said, “Prabhakar Shail, a witness in the cruise case, had filed an affidavit which I have gone through. Nobody came forward to file an FIR, that is why the FIR was not registered.”
