Manhunt on to nab three remaining accused in rigging during NEET UG-2022 exam

New Delhi, July 20 (FN Agency) The manhunt has been on to nab the three remaining accused in a case related to alleged mass rigging in the NEET UG-2022 examination conducted on July 17 by the National Testing Agency (NTA) under the Ministry of Education.According to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), the agency recently arrested eight people, including the mastermind and solvers in this case. During investigation, the mastermind and solvers were caught from different examination centres and other places of Delhi and Haryana, while appearing/impersonating as other candidates.

Accused Sushil Ranjan (mastermind) was apprehended from outside Havelock Square exam centre Delhi, Krishna Shankar Yogi and Sunny Ranjan (both caught from examination centre at Sector-8, Faridabad), Nidhi caught from examination centre at a school in Havelock Square Delhi, Jeepu Lal caught from examination centre at a school in Kundan Colony at Ballabhgarh in Haryana, Raghunandan caught from examination centre at a Senior Secondary School at Patparganj in Delhi, Bharat Singh apprehended from Safdarjung hospital hostel and Saurabh caught from examination centre Government Sarvodaya Bal Vidyalaya at Shakurpur in Delhi. A case was registered against 11 accused on the allegations related to mass rigging in the NEET UG – 2022 conducted on July 17, this year by NTA under the Ministry of Education for the admission in MBBS/ BDS/ BAMS/ BSMS/ BUMS/ BHMS and other undergraduate medical courses in approved/recognized Medical/ Dental/ AYUSH and other colleges/deemed Universities/Institutes (AIIMS and JIPMER) in India, CBI said in a statement here.
