Jammu, Sep 6 (FN Agency) Jammu and Kashmir Police assisted by Punjab Police have recovered a cash from the house of a drug peddler in Rajouri District. Police here on Monday said that Jammu Kashmir Police along with a team of Punjab Police on Sunday evening conducted a raid at various locations in village Sarya area of Nowshera in Rajouri district.
They said during raids, Rs 29.50 lakhs was recovered from the house of one drug peddler on specific inputs. A case under relevant sections has been registered and investigation started. “The case has been seized and the matter is under investigation,” police added.
