Hyderabad, Jun 17 (UNI) Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths on Thursday arrested Jagtial Town Sub-Inspector of Police after he allegedly demanded the bribe of Rs 30,000 ‘to grant station bail’ to the complainant Beijjarapu Rajesh and his family members, who are accused in a case registered in Jagtial Town Police station.
The cop Sangamuri Shiva Krishna accepted the bribe through a private driver Kadapa Ravi, the ACB said in a release here. The bribe amount was recovered from his possession. The arrested SI of police and driver are being produced before the Special Judge for SPE and ACB cases, Karimnagar, the release added.
