New Delhi, Nov 14 (Agency) A man has been arrested in Mumbai for allegedly black marketing the tickets of the World Cup semi-final match between India and New Zealand.Police said the Roshan Gurubakshani was caught while he was trying to sell the tickets for Rs. 1,20,000 each. They have recovered two tickets from him. A case has been registered against Roshan Gurubakshani and another man, officials said, adding that a search is on to trace the second accused who was involved in the alleged black marketing of the tickets.
Pravin Mundhe, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Mumbai has asked cricket fans to be alert while buying the World Cup match tickets. Mr Mundhe also asked them to reach the stadium early on Wednesday due to security protocols.India will take on New Zealand in the first semi-final of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 tomorrow at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
