Chandigarh, Nov 29 (FN Agency) Haryana, Pradesh Congress Committee President, Kumari Selja said on Monday that the BJP-JJP alliance government of Haryana is working to divert the attention of people from the scam of trading in government jobs. The present government does not want a fair investigation into the job-trading scam. Chief Minister Manohar Lal said that it is not possible to investigate 85,000 recruitments conducted during his tenure and only those will be investigated against whom complaints have been received. This shows that the government is engaged in hiding this mega-scam.
A fair investigation should be conducted into the huge scam in government jobs during the rule of this government, she said. In a statement issued here on Monday, Kumari Selja said that it is clear from the current recruitment scam that the entire package has been sold from passing the paper to getting a job. Money was taken from educated unemployed youth to ensure that they clear the teacher eligibility test conducted by the Haryana School Education Board (HSEB). After this more money was charged from them and they were appointed as lecturer through the Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) or teacher through the Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC). Hence, the recruitment mafia took the tender for passing the eligibility test to the appointment as lecturers and teachers. She said that three men together cannot carry out such a big job scam. Bigger people are also involved in this job-trading scam. The state government is not ready to get the matter investigated by a sitting judge of Punjab and Haryana High Court so that the real culprits involved in this scam may not be exposed. She said that the examination of the most prestigious HCS executives to Group ‘D’ were sold in exchange of money.
Due to this, the dreams of lakhs of unemployed and hardworking youth of the state were dashed. Kumari Selja said that in the seven years of BJP’s tenure till now has been known for paper leaks and job scams. Kumari Selja demanded that if the Haryana government has the courage to reveal the truth about the recruitment scams, then the HSSC and HPSC commissions should be dismissed without any delay and the investigation of this scam should be done by a SIT under the supervision of the Chief Justice of the High Court. She demanded the reorganization of HSSC and HPSC commissions and said that an expert panel should be formed in these commissions for the purpose of improving the quality of recruitments in the future and following whatever suggestions this panel gives and those suggestions should also be made public.
