Hyderabad, Mar 29 (Agency) Customs officials at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA), Shashabad, near here, seized 3175 grams of gold worth about Rs 1.943 crore from four female Sudanese passengers on Wednesday.
The passengers arrived on flight No. EK-524 from Dubai at 0255 hours, and the gold was seized in the form of paste capsules concealed inside their rectums, according to sources. Further investigation is in progress, the sources added.
