Jamshedpur, Mar 1 (Agency) A team from Sitaramdera Police Station have arrested four smugglers hailing from Bihar along with 22 kilograms of Ganja from the Maango bus stand. The cost of Ganja seized by the police is estimated to be around Rs 2.20 lakh. The arrested have been identified as Ravindra Yadav, Motichand Kushwaha, Lorik Yadav and Shubh Goswami. All of them hail from the West Champaran district.
Jamshedpur City SP Subhash Chandra Jaat said that smugglers had brought the Ganja from Odisha and were planning to take the substance to Champaran through the bus. Later all of them were forwarded to jail, the City SP said, adding that the smugglers were caught following a tip-off.
