Five held by Odisha STF for operating illegal stone mining

Bhubaneswar, July 15 (Representative) A team of the Special Task Force of Odisha Crime Branch on Saturday detained five accused persons on the charge of operating illegal stone mining in Dhenkanal district. STF sources here said on the basis of intelligence input regarding operation illegal stone mining in Rasol, Balimi and Motugoan multiple raids were conducted by STF team with the help of Dhenkanal district police.

During raids two Breakers , two Procoline Machine, a JCB, two Trucks Two Compressor, three Drill Machine, Battery, six Pump Sets and 200 pieces of Detonator, 75 Pieces of Galantine and 50 Kg of Ammonium Nitrate were seized along with other incriminating materials. All the accused persons have been detained and handed over to local police for necessary legal action at their end.
