Thane, Jul 13 (Agency) Thane Forest division officials have arrested five people and seized from them 27 kg of ambergris worth Rs 26 crore in the market.
Acting on a tip off, Forest officials laid a trap and arrested the five from Mumbai. an official said. An offence under Wildlife Protection Act has been registered against them. All the accused were presented before a local court, which sent them to forest custody, it was stated.
