ED, CBI probe into allegations made by MLA Ravi Rana: Londhe

New Delhi, Oct 28 (Bureau) MLA Ravi Rana, a supporter of Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, has accused former state minister and president of Prahar Association MLA Bachchu Kadu of going to Guwahati with money. Chief spokesperson of Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee Atul Londhe on Thursday demanded that these allegations are very serious and that who went to Guwahati with how many boxes should be investigated through ED CBI. Speaking in this regard, Mr Londhe said that MLA Rana has alleged that Bachu Kadu had gone to Guwahati with money. During the transfer of power in the state, many MLAs went to Guwahati with Rs 50 crore each. Mr Rana holds the constitutional post of MLA and is close to Deputy Chief Minister Fadnavis.

Therefore, the allegations made by him cannot be ignored,he said. In the same manner as former Home Minister Anil Deshmukh’s ED, CBI and Income Tax were investigated based on a letter of former Mumbai Police Commissioner Paramveer Singh, now the ED, CBI and Income Tax should investigate how much money was given and taken by whom during the transition period. From that, the truth of the transfer of power in the state will come out and the veils of many people will be torn. Londhe said that if these institutions do not investigate the matter, it will raise a big question mark on their impartiality and it will be clear that they are not impartial but are only targeting the opposition at the behest of the ruling party, added Mr Londhe.
