Imphal Sep 1 (Agency) Troops foiled cross border narcotic trafficking near Khuga village in Churachandpur district and seized drug worth Rs 4 cr. Assam Rifles official on Wednesday said based on credible inputs regarding narcotic trafficking, troops of Assam Rifles launched a search operation on Tuesday and 1.1 kg of Heroin was recovered from the jungle area near Khuga. The recovered narcotics was assessed to be worth approximately Rs 4 Crore. The seized narcotics were handed over to Churachandpur Police for further investigation.
