Bhubaneswar, Jan 29 (Agency) The sleuths of Vigilance department today caught Medical Officer in charge cum Superintendent of Hemagiri CHC in Sundergarha district Shradhakar Gartia red-handed while demanding and accepting bribe from a former Multi purpose female health worker for regularisation of her leave period. Vigilance sources said Dr Gartia was caught while accepting a bribe of Rs 5,000 from one Kalpana Patel. The entire bribe money has been recovered from the possession of Dr Gartia. His official quarter, office chamber and his residential building at Sambalpur are being searched on Disproportionate angle. An inquiry is on.
