New Delhi, June 6 (Bureau) A shocking hit and run incident on a Delhi road went viral on social media following a purported video clip showing an SUV driver allegedly threatening a biker and then hitting him. Anurag R Iyer tweeted and wrote, “Please help us, the Scorpio Car driver almost killed a few of our riders and threatened to kill us by crushing us under the car.” “This is not what we vote for or pay taxes for. No one was severely injured, Gears respect riders (sic),” Iyer wrote.
Replying to Iyer’s tweet, Delhi Police wrote, “Thank you for contacting Delhi Police. Please DM your contact details so that we can reach you.As per the viral video, the biker was hit by a Scorpio car, which then ran away from the spot. It is also seen that there is a verbal spat between them before the incident.
