Delhi Police books five foreign nationals for staying without valid documents

New Delhi, Nov 18 (FN Agency) In a crackdown on foreign nationals illegally staying in India, Delhi Police booked five Nigerian nationals under Foreigner Act, here on Thursday. The police said as part of the ongoing crackdown on foreigners illegally staying in Uttam Nagar area, police apprehended five Nigerian nationals roaming on Najafgarh Road near Nawada, said police.

After seeing five foreigners roaming in the area, police asked them to produce their passport and visa but they could not provide the valid documents. After verification of their credentials, they were identified as Dalington (37), Theophilus (50), Sunday Patrick (35), Nnamdi (45) and Nonso (36). A case has been registered against all five under the Foreigner Act, said the police.
