Samastipur, Aug 8 (Agency) Some armed criminals on Saturday looted Rs 16 lakh 76 thousand at gun point from Harpur Ailauth Chowck branch of the Bank of India under Musrigharari police station area here. Branch Manager Abhishek Dutta said here that motorcycle borne four criminals entered into the bank and took the employees hostage.
The criminals looted Rs 16 lakh 76 thousand and fled. Soon after getting the information zonal IG of Darbhanga Amitabh Kumar and police superintendent Manavjeet Singh Dhillon inspected the spot. Raids were on to nab the criminals.
