Patna, Aur 12 ( Agency ) Bihar vigilance Bureau on Thursday arrested child development project officer (CDPO) Manju Kumari of Tarari block in Bhojpur District when she was receiving bribe of Rs 20 thousand. Vigilance sources said here today that an anganbadi sevika had complainef against the CDPO who was demanding bribe of Rs 20,000 in lieu of signing a register.
A special team was constituted by the bureau arrested the CDPO when she was receiving the bribe from the complainant. After preliminary interrogation the arrested CDPO was being brought to the headquarter for further action.
