New Delhi, Oct 21 (Agency) The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Thursday arrested a man for allegedly accepting a bribe from the complainant, who is a public servant, the agency said. As per the agency, the accused was allegedly demanding undue advantage of Rs 15,000 in lieu of giving his deposition in favour of complainant, in the departmental enquiry in Railways which was instituted on the basis of complaint lodged by the accused.
CBI filed a case against the accused and unknown others on complaint. The agency sleuths laid a trap and caught the accused while accepting the bribe. Search was conducted at the residential premises of the accused. The accused was produced before the Special Judge, CBI Cases in Jaipur.
