New Delhi, June 20 (Agency) The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested a Junior Assistant of Municipal Corporation of Delhi posted in Karol Bagh zone for allegedly accepting a bribe from the Complainant, the probe agency said on Monday.A case was registered against a JA on the basis of complaint.
It was alleged that the accused demanded a bribe of Rs.2.25 lakh from the Complainant for allowing him to run his tyre repair shop at Kirti Nagar in New Delhi, CBI said.CBI laid a trap and caught the accused red handed while he was allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 50 thousand from the Complainant. Searches were conducted at the premises of the accused, CBI said.The accused was produced before the Court in Delhi and was remanded to Judicial Custody.
