Mumbai, Sep 29 (FN Agency) A whopping Rs 70 crore was collected in fines for not following the COVID norm of wearing face masks in this metropolis, official data said on Wednesday. The cumulative penalty amount includes the fines imposed by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, the Mumbai Police and the Railways till September 28. The data further said that the BMC has also collected over Rs 66 lakh from those found spitting in public places.
