Kannur, May 19 (Representative) Air Customs sleuths on Wednesday seized 967 grams of gold valued around Rs 47 lakh from a passenger who arrived at Kannur International Airport from Sharjah in an Indigo flight. Customs Assistant Commissioner E Vikas-led team detained Ummerkutty of Thaliparamba in this district in this connection. The seized gold was in compound form and was concealed in his inner-wear, Customs sources said.
