Guwahati, Oct 18 (Agency) An Afghan national has been arrested in Assam’s Biswanath district for allegedly travelling without valid documents. He was arrested when he was about to board a Lakhimpur-bound bus. Police informed that the passport and the visa that the Afghan national carried appeared to be fakes. The arrested Afghan national had allegedly entered into India three years back. The individual was engaged in garment business across the country including Assam. Meanwhile, a local court in Assam’s Biswanath district has sent the arrested Afghan national to judicial custody.
