Vijayawada, Sep 10 (Agency) Andhra Pradesh Anti-Corruption Bureau Court here has sent former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to 14 days judicial remand in the Skill Development scam case on Sunday. ACB Court Judge BSV Himabindu heard the arguments from Naidu’s advocates and the Assistant Advocate General of AP CID.
The arguments continued from morning to till 1800 hours. The former Chief Minister was later remanded to 14-day judicial custody by the Judge. The police are likely to take the TDP National President to Rajahmundry Central jail. As a precautionary measure the police clamped Section 144 of CrPC across the state. It may be mentioned here that this is the first time Chandrababu Naidu is facing a corruption case in his 45 years political career.
