Deoghar, Sep 12 (Agency) Police arrested 15 cyber criminals from separate police station areas of this district, here on Sunday. Police recovered a total of 28 mobile phones, 42 sim cards and a passbook from them. Addressing a joint press conference DSP Headquarters Mangal Singh Jamuda and Cyber DSP Sumit Prasad said, that following a tip off received by Deoghar SP a joint team conducted raids across Kairon, Pathrol, Madhupur, Devipur Police Stations and arrested these 15 criminals.
The police officer said that criminals use to dupe the customers in the name of reward and cash back or use to pose as bank officers and obtain sensitive information from the people and dupe them of their money. Among the arrested seven accused are related each other the DSP said adding that all of them are aged between 19-32 years.
