Deoghar, May 5 (Agency) The Deoghar Police have arrested a total of 14 cybercriminals from different police station areas of this district. Briefing the press on Wednesday Deoghar SP Ashwini Kumar Sinha said that these cybercriminals have been nabbed by a team of cyber police from separate locations under Sarath, Palojori and Pathrada police station areas.
From the arrested 23 mobile phones, 37 sim cards, 9 passbooks, 4 cheque books, 11 ATM cards have been recovered. Detailing the modus operandi of the arrested cybercriminals the SP said that these men use to pose as bank officials and in the name of KYC update use to obtain all secret information from the customers after they duped the people of their money.
