Under Rozgar Mela, PM distributed about 51,000 appointment letters

Bhubaneswar, Oct 28 (FN Representative) Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi distributed about 51,000 appointment letters to the newly inducted recruits during the event held at 39 different locations across the country on 28th October, 2023 via video conferencing. Prime Minister also addressed the appointees on the occasion.

Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, Hon’ble Union Minister of Education and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Govt. of India distributed 172 appointment letters physically to the newly inducted recruits at the event held at Bhubaneswar, Shri Bishweswar Tudu, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Tribal Affairs and Jal Shakti, Govt. of India distributed 114 appointment letters physically to the newly inducted recruits in presence of Shri Bhartruhari Mahatab, Hon’ble MP at the event held at Cuttack and 81 appointment letters distributed to the newly inducted recruits at the event held at Visakhapatnam respectively.

The Rozgar Mela is a step towards fulfilment of the commitment of the Prime Minister to accord highest priority to employment generation. The Rozgar Mela is expected to act as a catalyst in further employment generation and provide meaningful opportunities to the youth for their empowerment and participation in national development. The new recruits join various posts in various ministries under Government of India. The newly inducted appointees will also get an opportunity to train themselves through Karmayogi Prarambh, which is an online orientation course for all new appointees in various Government departments.
