This National Startup Day, witness coming together of innovative minds!

New Delhi, Jan 16 (Bureau) India has recently emerged as the third-largest startup ecosystem in the world. Recognising the diligence of these visionaries, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had declared January 16 as National Startup Day in 2021. In fact, an entire week is dedicated to this event, starting from January 10 to 16, where entrepreneurs, aspiring entrepreneurs, and other enablers come together for stimulating knowledge-sharing sessions. Startup India is the Government of India’s flagship initiative to catalyse startup culture and build a strong and inclusive ecosystem for innovation and entrepreneurship in India. Vikas Jain, Co-founder World of PLAY, said, “The wearable market has recorded immense growth in the last few years. According to GlobalData’s latest report, the global wearable technology market is expected to register a CAGR of 19 percent from 22 billion dollar in 2018 to 54 billion dollar in 2023, which is attributed to the growing demand for multimedia devices and smartphones, as well as rapid adoption of health-based devices, especially fitness trackers.”

“In this category, smartwatches are leading the charts with the highest adoption among young consumers.
