SPMCIL sets up new bank note printing lines

New Delhi, Jan 28 (FN Agency) Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Ltd (SPMCIL) has set up new bank note printing lines each at Currency Note Press, Nashik and Bank Note Press, Dewas as part of its modernisation plan. Meera Swarup, Special Secretary and Financial Adviser in the Ministry of Finance on January 27 inaugurated the new bank note printing line at Currency Note Press, Nashik.

The new bank note printing line at Bank Note Press, Dewas was inaugurated by Shashank Saksena, Senior Economic Adviser, Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance through virtual mode. Member of Parliament Hemant Tukaram Godse from Nashik constituency, Tripti Patra Ghosh, Chairman and Managing Director, SPMCIL, S.K. Sinha, Director (HR), SPMCIL and Vinay Kumar Singh, CVO, SPMCIL were among those present on the inaugural functions.
