Mumbai, Jul 22 (FN Agency) The BSE Sensex on Thursday rallied by 633 pts at 52,837 in opening session as buying was seen across the board. The Nifty too rose by 177 pts at 15,809.95. The Sensex registered intra days high and low at 52,837.65 and 52,471.23 pts respectively. The Nifty registered intra days high and low at 15,813.25 and 15,720.40 pts respectively. The Mid Cap and Small Cap moved up by 0.83 and 1.47 pc respectively.
In 30 scrips, 25 advanced while 5 declined. The gainers were Bajaj Finance by 4.65 pc to Rs 6214.15, Tata Steel by 2.70 pc to Rs 1266, Tech Mahindra by 2.57 pc to Rs 1114.95, ICICI Bank by 2.55 pc to Rs 658.35 and Titan by 2.13 pc to Rs 1706. The losers were Asian Paints by 1.03 pc to Rs 3126.55, Powergrid by 0.17 pc to Rs 230.10, Nestle India by 0.16 pc to Rs 17,800 and HCL Technology by 0.12 pc to Rs 976.30.
