Seminar on Commerce and Technology in the 21st Century in CUHP

Dharamshala, June 27 (FN Agency) Prashant Bhardwaj, Indiana University of Pennsylvania, USA, on Wednesday, highlighted the mutual and business relations between India and the USA a and shared an outline of business models for achieving the goals of Industry 4.0 and sustainable development. He was addressing a two-day national seminar sponsored by ICSSR in collaboration with IQAC and Indian Chamber of Commerce and Management Association organized by Department of Commerce, Central University of Himachal Pradesh Dr. Michele Petrucci, Senior International Officer, Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and his colleagues Dr. Prashanth Bharadwaj, and Dr. Curtis Scheib attended as special guests and Prof. Prashant Gupta, Professor and Dean, Faculty, Academic and Alumni Affairs, IIM Nagpur delivered the keynote address on the integration of technology and business.

In his presidential address Prof. S.P. Bansal, Vice Chancellor, Central University of Himachal, spoke about the implementation of the MoU between CUHP and Indiana University of Pennsylvania, USA and emphasised on strengthening the research relations between the two universities. He emphasised on incorporating technology in business to achieve the goals of sustainable development by 2030. Academicians from various institutions of the country were also honoured on the occasion. Seminar coordinator Chaman Kashyap said more than 200 teachers and researchers from 55 universities and colleges of 15 states of the country will present their research papers and participate in the seminar.
